Profs. Stephen Pate and Vassili Papavassiliou will continue their research into the structure of the proton and neutron with a new $1.24M grant from the US Department of Energy, Office of Science. Covering the three-year period April 1, 2021, to March 31, 2024, the renewal of this long-running grant will allow Profs. Pate and Papavassiliou and their students (Samantha Sword-Fehlberg, Forhad Hossain, and Dinupa Batugedara) and postdocs (Lu Ren and Abinash Pun) to extend their studies of the activities of the quarks and gluons that form the internal structure of the proton and neutron.
