Publishing in Physical Review Letters: An editor’s perspective

Physical Review Letters (PRL) is the American Physical Society’s flagship journal for publishing short letters on important advancements across the full spectrum of fundamental and applied physics. My talk will be divided into three parts. First, I'll provide an overview of PRL, key updates, and new initiatives. Second, I will walk you through the entire peer-review process—from manuscript submission to final publication—offering insights from what I see from the editorial side. Finally, I will be happy to answer any questions you may have about submitting your work to PRL.
